I am an Ivy League educated, Harvard-trained attorney and federal executive who helps professional women of color find purpose and self-fulfillment while navigating competing priorities stemming from professional, familial, and social expectations and obligations. Professional women, particularly professional women of color, are often torn between the desire to be their most authentic selves and the need to conform to social, familial, and professional expectations. In fact, the demands and responsibilities of work, family, and community may be so overwhelming that many women of color have trouble identifying their life purpose. I’ve been there. I’ve done that.
